The team members of Fit for Funding can remember only too well what happened
when we first applied for funding….
In the meantime, we've had almost 10 years of experience and so can support you with
all aspects of submitting a funding application to national and international agencies from
the development of the concept to dealing with the administrative side.
We are also working as evaluators in various EU framework programs.

	Petra Busswald University graduate in Technical Mathematics, Diploma in Technical Environmental Protection
Competence / Interests: As a mathematician, an essential aspect of my job is to structure content so that grant projects are presented in a clear and effective way: the jury has to be convinced quickly! Another focus of mine is suggesting ideas for including multimedia and sustainability aspects. Focus/Themes: Mathematics, information technology, sustainability (Indicators such as CO2 balance, energy balance), transport, art, culture.
	Bente Knoll University graduate in Landscape Planning and PhD in Transport Planning, gender researcher and lecturer at several universities
Competence / Interests: My focus is on introducing gender and diversity perspectives into project content and themes in areas of transport planning, mobility research, technology and engineering sciences as well as environment and sustainability research in order to anchor socially relevant aspects into all projects. I also review projects and suggest ways of making them more comprehensive and clearer in structure as well as supporting time and financial planning. Focus/themes: Planning und mobility research, technology and engineering sciences, environment and sustainability research as well as gender research, women’s research and gender mainstreaming in science and research, quantitive and qualitative analysis and evaluation.
	Elke Szalai University graduate in Landscape Planning as well as gender researcher and lecturer at various universities
Competence / Interests: My focus is on looking at projects in the area of planning and sustainability and engineering in the light of gender issues and offering suggestions for making projects more socially relevant. My competences include a critical review of project ideas, and checking the formulated research objectives. I also help with building up research networks and with finding suitable project partners. Focus/themes: Planning and space research, engineering sciences, environmental and sustainability research as well as gender research, media and how to communicate content
	Franz Niederl University graduate and PhD in Technical Mathematics, Professor at FH-Joanneum, Kapfenberg
Competence / Interests: I'm dealing with statistical analysises, budgeting and forecasting. Conception, selection, implementation and/or customization of software tools for project management are in my competence as well as dissemination and the conception of creative, on-the-date methods to spread the results to various target groups. Focus/themes: Mathematics, remote sensing, information and communication technologies
	Regina Plail University graduate in Food Science and Biotechnology with a focus on the pharmaceutical industry
Competence / Interests: I can help coordinate project development, as well as structure ideas and mobilise all the resources at the team’s disposal. I can help clarify the detailed terms of the grants and funding schemes, give advice on the suitability of the project for a scheme as well as on the choice of partners for cooperation. I draft texts in German and English based on project concepts or edit texts and make suggestions as to the structure, wording and the inclusion of graphs and graphics. Focus/themes: Process development. Fermentation process. Product development. Quality control. Analytics. Livestock food additives. Biological agriculture. Food science quality and security. Registration. Affinity for projects in Eastern Europe.
	Gertrude Mauerbauer Webmaster, Organization, Marketing
Competence / Interests: My tasks in the team include many aspects of marketing and organization, I also care for timeliness and bundled information on the website. I do targeted searches and summarise the results in meaningful reports. Focus/themes: Webdesign, web-programming, webmarketing; organization, internal and external contacts; marketing, advertisement.

Our team cooperates with English native speakers to ensure a professional level of English language use and can also access other partners and resources in case these are needed to meet project requirements.
